8 perish in Zupco bus head on collision this morning along Mutare highway.

Eight people have died following a fatal road traffic accident along the Mutare Road near Mutendi early this morning, August 30, 2025, at around 0300hrs.

According to sources, a ZUPCO bus collided head-on with a haulage truck, and the impact resulted in multiple fatalities, with several others reportedly injured.

Police are yet to release an official statement with further details, including the number of injured and their current conditions.
