Former Zimbabwean Tourism Minister, Walter Mzembi remanded in custody.

The Former Tourism Minister, Walter Mzembi, has been remanded in custody until July 1 2025. The Daily Press has learnt

Appearing before a Harare magistrate today ( 17 June 2025), Donald Ndirowei, Mzembi's application to have his three warrant of arrests cancelled was dismissed, while his bail application was revoked.

According to the state prosecutors, the former minister failed to convince the court of his conditions for defaulting on court proceedings.

Mzembi was arrested late last week after returning back from self-imposed exile.
