Nyazura man stabbed to death at bar

Police are appealing for information leading to the arrest of Takudzwa Mungazi (28) of Nyazura, who is wanted for murder after he allegedly stabbed a fellow imbiber to death last week.

Takudzwa Mungazi of Plot number 3, Fiki Village, Nyazura, allegedly stabbed Sententilous Mangoma (23) of Plot 7, Netherlands, on the chest and abdomen at Netherlands Farm Shops. Manicaland Acting Police Spokesperson, Assistant Inspector Wiseman Chinyoka, confirmed the incident.

The incident happened around 9 pm. 

Circumstances are that Mungazi and Mangoma were drinking beer at the shops, and a misunderstanding ensued. It is not clear what the two argued over.

 Mungazi allegedly drew a knife and stabbed Mangoma on the chest and abdomen. Mangoma was rushed to Rusape District Hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.

Meanwhile, Mungazi is still at large
