Former Zambian President, Lungu dies at 68.

Former Zambian Head of State and Government , President Edgar Lungu has died . He was 68, the Patriotic Front confirmed this afternoon.

During his reign Lungu was President of Zambia between 2015 and 2021 before losing an election to the current President Hakainde Hichilema.

It is reported that he died while receiving treatment in South Africa today ( 05 June 2025)
