Mbizo Inferno: Fire engulfs Mbizo 4 Kwekwe Shopping Centre

A devastating fire broke out at Mbizo 4 shopping centre in Kwekwe,  today September 12, 2025, at around 2:30 am. 

The blaze has destroyed the Cakeman Shop and a nearby flea market, located opposite the Mbizo 4 GTS Gas Station or next to Africa Bet.

A disturbing footage shows bystanders taking advantage of the situation to loot clothes and beer from the adjacent liquor store and flea markets.

Meanwhile the emergence services responded swiftly. The aftermath of the incident is still unfolding, with investigations underway to determine the cause of the fire.
