
The Proteas have taken a 1–0 lead in the test series after handing Zimbabwe's Chevrons a heavy 328-run defeat at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo.
Despite a strong effort from Wellington Masakadza and Craig Ervine, the Chevrons were bowled out on day four to end the match.
In a post-match interview, Wellington Masakadza said that the team will be focusing on rectifying the mistakes made in the first test match against the Proteas.
The second Test match between Zimbabwe and South Africa is scheduled for the 6th of July at Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo, the Daily Press can reveal
